CO2 Probe GMP251
The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Carbon Dioxide Probe GMP251 is an intelligent stand-alone probe for measuring CO2 levels in life science incubators, cold storage, fruit and vegetable transportation and demanding applications where stable and accurate CO2 percentage measurements are required. The operating temperature range is -40 ... +60 °C and the measuring range is 0 ... 20 % CO2.
The GMP251 is based on Vaisala's proprietary 2nd generation CARBOCAP® technology for excellent stability. Instead of a conventional bulb, a new type of infrared (IR) light source is used to extend the life of the GMP251. The probe has full temperature and pressure compensation for CO2 measurement - a temperature measurement is built in for compensation purposes. The sensor head is heated to prevent condensation. Digital output via RS-485: Modbus & Vaisala Industrial Protocol. The products are always delivered with a calibration certificate.
The GMP251 is part of the Indigo family and can be used as a stand-alone probe or in conjunction with the Indigo200, Indigo300, and Indigo500 series transmitters, as well as the Indigo80 handheld indicator. Vaisala Insight PC software can be used for data visualization, easy probe configuration and field calibration.
