KELAG accelerometers
The technology makes the difference!
The accelerometers manufactured by KELAG are based on high-precision "bulk" or "three-dimensional" micromechanical technology. In addition, internal gas damping stabilizes the measurement signal even under the most difficult conditions. The temperature response is highly stable and the hysteresis is practically unmeasurable. This highly robust technology offers the following advantages:
- Long-term stability at 0.4% in 10 years (HTOL bake)
- Resolutions up to 0.025mg or 0.0025%
- Repeatability up to 0.1mg or 0.01%
- Temperature stability at 0.008mg/°C or 0.0008%/°C (hysteresis hardly measurable)
The three-dimensional design of the sensor element with the special glass structures enables high long-term stability with high repeatability.
The measuring pendulums are set up in the center of the three-layer waver, enabling precise measurements in the x, y and z axes.
This applies to the frequency ranges 0...80 (300) Hz/3db. For higher frequencies (6...10'000 Hz) the proven piezo technology is used.
Sensors with the following properties can be offered as standard (ex stock):
- Measuring range: +/- 0.26, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6 and +/- 10g or higher
- Output signal: voltage, current, digital
- Design: robust, waterproof housing with cable or plug connection, protection class IP65 - IP69
