TacMet MAWS201M
The Vaisala TacMet® Tactical Meteorological Observation System is a portable and compact weather station designed for field operations. It is suitable for use in diverse environments and under varying weather conditions. With its extensive sensor capabilities, this portable system can be quickly and easily deployed. It is a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) product and incorporates efficient Built-In-Test (BIT) diagnostics.
The MAWS201M is offered in two versions: the Basic System, which measures meteorological parameters, and the Enhanced System, which includes aviation support.

It shares the design elements with the Vaisala TacMet Tactical Meteorological Observation System MAWS201M, which is tailored for rigorous tactical meteorological applications. The inclusion of a lightweight aluminum tripod and user-friendly connectors ensures a swift and hassle-free installation. Additionally, each leg of the tripod is adjustable to accommodate uneven terrain.
