Weather Data Transmitter KWDT08.1 for Switch Heating Control
Digital acquisition and transmission of relevant measurement data
The KWDT08.1 measures air temperature and precipitation as key parameters for the demand-based control of switch heating systems. In addition, the KSTF11ASBK rail temperature sensor can be connected directly to the weather station. The measured values are transmitted digitally via Modbus RTU to the higher-level control system or PLC.

All relevant measurement parameters: Air temperature, precipitation and rail temperature are available to the higher-level system as a basis for demand-based switch heating control.

Digital communication: The measured values are transmitted via Modbus RTU and can be easily integrated into existing PLC and control systems.

Designed for outdoor use: The integrated enclosure heater supports reliable operation under winter conditions. The radiation shield reduces the influence of direct solar radiation on the air temperature measurement.
